What does it mean to be dog friendly? A dog frienldy pub is one where dogs are more than just tolerated but
actively welcomed. Dogs might be given treats, petted or given water by the pub staff.
How should dogs and owners behave? In order to encourage dog friendliness, both dogs and owners need to make sure
their canine friend is well behaved. If the dog is not on a lead he/she should stay near to the owner and not wander
and disturb other guests on the premesis.

Featured Pub: The Lickfold Inn, West Sussex
Owned by Radio 2 DJ Chris Evans, The Lickfold Inn is a 15th Century timber fronted Inn. Think great beer and devils on horseback.Think Sunday roast or maybe a curry and a quiz! The Lickfold Inn is your local pub without the soggy chips and stale beer. We are passionate about fantastic food served inside and out (when weather allows it!) and pride ourselves with our fantastic selection of beer and wine from around the world. Food is British and local⦠just how we like it, no⦠how we love it! You are welcome to bring your very well-behaved four legged friend to the Lickfold. But please mention this when you book as we want to make sure we can accommodate you. Dogs are only allowed in certain parts of the pub and must always be on the lead.
